Letters: A Trip to the Past?

I've always wondered what it would be like to talk through letters. Excruciatingly slow? Or a lot of fun, keeping the mystery of what the next letter might bring?  In the era of social media apps, getting in contact with someone couldn't be made easier. We can send messages, pictures, voice recordings, and videos with ease.  What would happen if we decided to use letters in the same way we use these apps? Would we print out pictures and send them along? Record our videos on a cassette? Imagine waiting a week for your letter to arrive, jittery with excitement and it only has one word on it, "okay". The world would descend into chaos (a little exaggeration never hurt anybody). There are multiple ways this could play out, here's my variation: Everything would be a mess, to alert someone about a last-minute change in plans, would be next to impossible. Nobody would be able to go for long without having a quick chat with their best friend or their parents. Some might e...

Word of Advice

                             Does writing come naturally to you? For some, writing is a way to detox, relax, pour their heart out to the readers. Can't relate. The level of talent you must have for your words to just pour out onto paper is something I find crazy.  If you're anything like me, you probably lose your mind trying to decide which word works best where. And then there is the legendary Writer's Block. I genuinely used to think writer's block wasn't a thing, how could someone just not know what to write about. Well, that aged well.  Conclusion: Writing is hard. Nevertheless, don't give up writing because of that. Writer's block happens to the best of us, it's your duty to walk your way past it. Word of advice? Keep writing, even if it is a very random/ not that good of a post like this one. Yours truly, Angel :)
